Other/General FAQs
You can find details of what your child will need for their session inside your booking confirmation. However, in general children will need:
Sports appropriate shoes and clothes
- A bottle of water
- A snack
- A jumper
For football, your child will also need:
- Astro trainers or football boots
- Shin pads
We aim to run all our sessions in all weather. On rare occasions, we must cancel sessions due to extreme weather. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible.
All coaches are DBS checked. Football coaches are qualified to at least FA Level 1. Netball coaches are qualified to at least ENG Netball Level 1. Gymnastics coaches are all qualified through British Gymnastics.
We are always working to improve access to sports to all children. Being from a lower-income family should never affect this. We currently offer bursaries to families that cannot afford our sessions on a case-by-case basis. We are also in the process of having out Football and Netball clubs registered as charities so that we can help as many children and families as possible.

All kits are ordered at the start of the season. You will be given information once your child joins a team. Gymnastics kits are provided as part of your initial membership fee. We make ad-hoc kits orders throughout the year, so please contact us or your coach to find out more. All kit is subject to availability.
Yes! At Shooting Starz we provide children’s birthday parties, adult parties, work-do’s, event and facility hire and more! All party packages and information can be found on our party’s page. Event and Facility hire can be found here. Or contact us.
One to one and private group sessions are available with a coach on request. You can either get in touch with the coach directly or contact us.
